Every contractor shall send half yearly returns in the given format in duplicate to the Licensing Officer concerned not later than 30 days from the close of the half year. Half year for the purpose of this rule means a period of 6 months commencing from Ist January and Ist July of every year.
This form covers details such as contractor, principal employer, and establishment details, contract period, number of days during the half year on which principal employer/contractor worked, maximum number of contract labour employed on any day, weekly holiday observed, wages and deductions, and welfare facilities given.
