Draft of Code on Social Security (Himachal Pradesh) Rules, 2021

The Draft Rules of Social Security (Himachal Pradesh) Rules, 2021 has been notified in the gazette on 30 October 2021.

Applicability

The Draft Rules upon coming into force shall extend to the whole of Himachal Pradesh and they shall come into force after the date of their final publication in the Rajpatra (e-Gazette) Himachal Pradesh.

Upon the Rules coming to force, it shall repeal:

• The Himachal Pradesh Maternity Benefits Rules, 1973;
• The Payment of Gratuity (Himachal Pradesh) Rules, 1972;
• The Himachal Pradesh Unorganised Workers’ Social Security Rules, 2015; (
• The Himachal Pradesh Building and other Construction Workers (RE & CS) Rules, 2008.
