Draft of Code on Social Security (Gujarat) Rules, 2021

The Draft Rules of Social Security (Gujarat) Rules, 2021 has been notified in the gazette on 16 November 2021.

Applicability

The Draft Rules upon coming into force shall extend to the whole of the State of Gujarat, and they shall come into force after the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette.

The Draft Rules upon coming into force shall repeal:

• Gujarat Maternity Benefit Rules, 1964
• Payment of Gratuity (Gujarat) Rules, 1973
• Gujarat State Unorganized Workers Social Security Rules, 2011
• Gujarat Workmen’s Compensation Rules, 1967
