The Goa, Diu and Daman Labour Welfare Fund Rules is an act to provide for the constitution of a Fund for the financing of activities to promote the welfare of Labour and for conducting such activities and for matters connected therewith in the Union Territory of Goa, Daman, and Diu.

  • Any Establishment/Employer employing 1 or more persons
  • All employees except in managerial/administrative/supervisory capacity drawing wages more than ₹ 1,600 per month

Applicability

It was enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Goa, Daman and Diu in the  Thirty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:— Short title, extent and commencement

 (1) This Act may be called the Goa, Daman and Diu Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1986.

 (2) It extends to the whole of the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu.

 (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
