As per the Amendment,
In the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017, in rule 15, in sub-rule (1), after clause (o), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- “(p) Accessibility standards and Guidelines for Banking Sector, as specified in the notification in the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India vide Notification no. F.No. 7/32/2022-BOA-I dated the 2nd February, 2024”.
Note: The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017 were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,Part II, section 3, sub-section (i) vide notification number G.S.R. 591 (E), dated the 15th June, 2017 and was last amended vide G.S.R. 358 (E), dated the 25th June, 2024.
